If it is necessary to use fusible interfacing for your pattern, do not iron directly. Use a pressing cloth and then iron and steam in place with moderate settings on your iron. So, how does sherpa get that distinct curly texture without animal fibers? Twisted yarns are knitted into the fleece fabric, and a wire brush roughens it up and creates the nap. The fibers in sherpa fleece are crimped, which most closely resembles a sheep's wool, and best replicates the benefits that wool can offer, most notably lightweight heat insulation. After an extensive search, Sherpa Design found the perfect building and completed the purchase agreement in October.

The ground floor will house their Carbon 3D printing and CNC Precision Machine Shop, while the second floor will be dedicated to product development teams. The top floor will serve administrative employees and client meeting spaces, ensuring a seamless workflow and enhanced collaboration. How about the look and feel of a sweet little lamb without the care and maintenance of wool?

You may need to size up for a better fit since sherpa typically has low stretch—and try using ribbed knit for the waistband and cuffs. Sometimes sherpa is carried seasonally, so always check with your favorite local shop first! Here are some great options for getting your hands on some of this flufftastic fabric. See how we easily bolt on to your R&D teams and make your product the best it can be at every stage. Sherpa Design is a team of engineers, designers, and machinists who push the envelope of new technologies and equip others to do the same. We thrive in partnerships with ambitious, R&D-driven companies ready to move from idea to action. Sherpa is a cozy and wonderful fabric that would make a great addition to your handmade wardrobe. The two most important things to keep in mind when selecting a pattern is that sherpa is a knit fabric and that it is also very bulky.
Sherpa fleece is a heavyweight and fluffy knit fabric, napped with a sheep-like fluffy pile on one side and smooth knit fabric on the other side. Typically made out of cotton, polyester, or acrylic fibers—or a combination of the three—sherpa can sometimes be made of wool or even bamboo. The curriculum is identical to Sherpa Design's renowned weeklong training and helps both new and experienced NX users leverage the latest NX tools. It offers a powerful suite of tools that enhance productivity and streamline the design process. With the release of this new training class, Sherpa Design aims to equip students and professionals with the necessary skills to excel in their design and manufacturing endeavors. Cut pattern pieces with the nap in the same direction.
Sherpa, with its stretchy knit structure, is very prone to stretching without reinforcement. Sherpa fleece is a pretty thick knit fabric, which means that your standard machine foot may have trouble sewing through multiple layers of fabric. A walking foot will allow your machine to pull the fabric evenly through the feed dogs, which will make it easier to sew this thick, fluffy fabric. Through our work with some of the most innovative companies in the U.S., we’ve refined our iterative product development process to fully align our engineering caliber with your vision. It’s how we’ve co-created new IP and next-gen technologies you find in aircrafts, industrial engines, night vision devices, semiconductor equipment, VR devices, and possibly your own home.

Experience
Being immersed in nature is known to improve mental wellbeing. At SerpaDesign, I believe that nature design (house plants, terrariums, aquariums, etc.) produces a better quality of life. I often take that to the extreme, but that’s the point. My goal is to excite you about this artform through education and entertainment. This platform is designed to show you just how fun, easy, and rewarding it can be.
One exciting area in which we’ve applied our expertise is opto-mechanical design. Our experience here spans consumer products (including AR/VR, and automotive), industrial, and defense. Across these domains, we’ve worked with multiple thermal cores, laser modules, optical trains, and ruggedized enclosure development. From early concepting to full product development and sustaining support, our process is focused, agile, and highly collaborative.
This month’s new pattern, the Amari jacket, was designed with sherpa in mind. It’s a pullover, quarter-zip jacket with dropped shoulders and ample ease, making it well suited to the fluffy coziness of sherpa. It’s easy for pins to hide in the nap of the fabric, and you don’t want to sew or serge through your pins accidentally. Wonder Clips work well for this, but you can also use binder clips as an alternative. Make sure your scissors are sharp before cutting sherpa, and cut single-layer if the pile is too high.
It's not easy, but the rewards are worth the trek. Your project or campaign may be complex, have detailed policy components or dense text. With a coffee hour every Thursday and multiple social events per week, Ashdown residents continue building on almost 100 years of community. In March 1980, the administration announced a plan to switch Senior House and East Campus residents with Ashdown House residents due to a housing shortage for graduate students. Undergraduates in Senior House and East Campus would move into Ashdown and the soon-to-be-completed Next House. Walker Memorial would also be renovated as a graduate student center. The administration aired the proposal to the MIT community before making any decisions with the Corporation having the final say because of the substantial costs of the renovation. However, the Undergraduate Association president at the time complained that he and the Dormitory Council president had not been consulted before the announcement of the proposal.

Each time a journalist dies or is injured, we lose a fragment of that truth,” CPJ Program Director Carlos Martínez de la Serna said in a statement. ” protesters draped in the traditional Palestinian keffiyeh cloth shouted, running after men in tuxedos and suits and women in long dresses holding clutch purses as guests hurried inside for the dinner. But the president quickly segued to a grim speech about what he believes is at stake this election, saying that another Trump administration would be even more harmful to America than his first term. Despite being similar in age, Biden said, the two presidential hopefuls have little else in common.

The conservative philosophy is more of a lowest common dominator philosophy which judged house activities by their popularity/cost ratio. More specifically, liberals might support games room parties or hallway paintings while conservatives would spend money on television or mixers, for example. The administration, mostly in the person of Dean (of Student Affairs) Wadleigh, took the Bitters’ position whenever possible. In the years following his retirement, Dr. Ashdown remained active in House affairs and still attended AHEC meetings until a few months before his death. Doc passed away in 1970 and his ashes were buried in the court at W1 at his request.
“One feature was interesting to us – many students from other countries had special taste in teas and, when they returned home, would mail us their favorite tea to serve. The format was informal so students could just come in on their way back from their laboratories or the library. Carol and I usually worked behind the counter, so we could greet students as we served them. If someone needed help or had questions, we were there to talk with them without their having to make a formal appointment or come to our apartment. At first only 60 or 70 students showed up but when it became better known about 350 would wander in between 9 and 11 p.m.. The administration gave us enough tables and chairs so that everyone could sit and talk.

Protest organizers said they aimed to bring attention to the high numbers of Palestinian and other Arab journalists killed by Israel’s military since the war began in October. Ralliers cried “Free, free Palestine.” They cheered when at one point someone inside the Washington Hilton — where the dinner has been held for decades — unfurled a Palestinian flag from a top-floor hotel window. However, because I believed the facility was extremely beneficial to Ashdown life, I went to the next faculty meeting and asked the faculty to support its continued operation. The faculty voted to back my request, but unfortunately the Administration felt that it had no choice and the dining service was closed. On June 12th, 1943, all residents of Graduate House were moved out and the dorm was occupied by nine-hundred apprentice seamen (V-12 unit) pursuing undergraduate studies of special value to the Navy.

Graduate students now lack almost completely the social contacts which the undergraduates enjoy throughout their manifold organized activities. Their cultural development, and hence their social effectiveness, depend on such contacts. The most natural cultural training comes from free social intercourse between men of differing interests but of equivalent intellectual outlook. Ashdown House is an unusual Dutch-style house on the Berkshire Downs built in the early 1660s for William, 1st Earl of Craven. Legend purports that Ashdown was built during an outbreak of plague in London as a refuge for Elizabeth of Bohemia, to whom Craven was devoted. It is more likely, however, that it was planned by Craven as a hunting lodge.

Residents of Senior House and East Campus strongly opposed the proposal. In May of 1980, the administration withdrew the proposal, calling it a “pre-proposal.” Preservation of house identities and lifestyles and the need for further study were the main reasons cited by the administration. This original design, undertaken with no student input, was met with fierce resistance. In particular, there were no rooms comparable in price to current Ashdown rooms, nor was there any common space except for the laundry. Ashdown residents, the Orlandos, GSC and other graduate students saw this proposed dorm as completely unsatisfactory. There was an intense battle with the Administration over several months.

The level of effort required to make a game in different mediums can vary significantly. However, the requirements define what each Scout must include in his design notebook so that there is a baseline for all Scouts to meet.

A blind test involves giving your game and its rules to a new group of players who haven’t played it before. You watch them play without giving any instructions to see how well your game and rules are understood. After sharing my notebook and observations with my counselor, we talked about how players reacted. I learned that instructions have to be super clear and that every game piece needs a purpose. I’d give my game prototype and instruction sheet to a group of friends who have never played the game before.

In the game design industry, this can include things like game concepts, characters, and even how the game looks (graphics). When designing a game, the goal is to make it fun, interactive, and social. The game should be easy to learn but hard to master, so that it’s accessible to new players but still challenging for pros. It should also be well-paced, immersive, and have lots of replay value. And of course, it should be affordable so everyone can join in the fun. So, protecting intellectual property helps creators keep their original ideas safe and allows them to profit from their creativity. People play games for various reasons, each contributing to the appeal and popularity of gaming in different ways. Below are five key reasons people engage in gaming, along with examples for each. Requirement 8a or 8b MUST be completed before you attend your merit badge day class.
At this stage, you would sketch out the game board, showing the different types of spaces (puzzle, challenge, start, and end). These drawings don’t have to be perfect but should give a clear idea of what each element will look like. People would want to play this game because it combines strategy, problem-solving, and a bit of luck. The jungle setting and quest for a hidden treasure add excitement and a sense of adventure.
Based on the tests, one change I’d make is to clarify the point system and the value of each game piece. This would make the game easier to understand and more fun to play. You give them the rules, the pieces, and then step back to watch how they navigate through the game without any help from you. This could be anything from scoring points, solving a puzzle, or collecting items.
The no-dribbling rule made the game slower, and the requirement for all players to touch the ball did emphasize teamwork but at the cost of fewer scoring chances. In short, game design is a skill that combines creativity and technical know-how to create games that bring joy and connection to people everywhere. NEIT helps students develop basic math, communications, and business skills that allow them to compete for the best jobs and ensure growth in their chosen career. For each term that you pick, describe how it relates to a specific game. You should also make adjustments based on feedback and play it multiple times to ensure it works as intended. Protection is needed so people can’t just copy your hard work and make money from it without your permission. A “licensed property” means using someone else’s intellectual property legally. For example, making a “Star Wars” video game would need a license from the owners of the “Star Wars” brand.
Because the project is so flexible, it is likely that you will have Scouts working in mediums with which you are unfamiliar. The game design community has a vast array of publicly available resources, and the merit badge information online at maintains updated links to relevant material. If you have a specific concern about programming an electronic game prototype, there are a number of free or inexpensive game design software packages available online. Some are very easy to use with little or no computer knowledge, and most have robust information resources to support them.
It also complements many other quality dining options in the area, he said, adding with some employees returning to the office they will have another option to grab lunch, dinner or a drink. This generously portioned dish sits atop grilled Chinese eggplant, sweet peppers, cashews and a rib bone. The tender, organic meat frees itself into a manageable bite with just a twist of the fork and dissolves in the mouth. The meat hides the delicious vegetables that lie in wait underneath; these little surprises complement the short ribs wonderfully. The Vegetarian Open Faced Ravioli entrée is initially attractive because it is one of the few vegetarian entrees. Filled with perfectly cooked shiitake, chanterelle and blue foot mushrooms, the ravioli is balanced with a ricotta mousse that is rich and succulent.

Canopies tented thirty feet high give just a glimpse of Hollywood starlight, while heating lamps that just out from the walls provide ample warmth. Formerly known as acclaimed club White Lotus, Ritual opened its doors in the summer of 2007 with a revamped menu and aesthetic facelift. Executive chef Andrew Pastore, who opened White Lotus and was also behind the Hollywood launches of the Sunset Room, Pig’n Whistle, and Cabana Club, anchors Ritual’s new cast. "If TikTok is banned, I think I might use it as a reason to get off social media completely," he said, apart from X which he needs to use for work. Yap told BI she loves "a good curated feed and aesthetic story," but Instagram can feel a little too "polished."

It’s unfortunate that a place this consistently appealing isn’t packed to the gills every day of the week. If you’re looking for the energy that comes with a packed weeknight restaurant, however, Ritual disappoints—in that area alone. This restaurant deserves to be busy, full of beautiful, trendy socialites and their well-to-do companions. And on weekend nights, when the club’s line stretches down towards Hollywood Boulevard, it is. But on the night I went, my table was the only one in the restaurant until my second course arrived. By the time I paid the check, there were three other tables in the restaurant—two large parties and another couple.

To start, we tried the fried burrata which was plated on a creamy tomato sauce and drizzled with basil oil and a balsamic glaze. The fry on the burrata was light and crispy, and the sauces were balanced and well-seasoned.
With A New Culinary Team In Place, Herky And Lisa Pollock Want To Make Ritual House A Home
Transcend Hollywood’s club scene into a Zen-like wonderland that calms the senses, enlivens the soul, and thrills the palate. Ritual is located on Cahuenga Blvd., just north of chaotic Hollywood Blvd. It is the pricier, hotter, more attractive cousin of its predecessor White Lotus. Ritual’s food and ambience will make you forget you’re in Hollywood, and its transformation into weekend Hollywood hotspot is a feat to make you forget about any other nightclub this side of La Brea. Lisa calls it a “sophisticated funhouse” that’s already a gathering spot for groups of women celebrating special events, conducting lunch meetings or having a happy hour drink. Ritual House will pop the cork on a champagne menu that will include flights and cocktails like Blushing Bellini with Stoli Peach, white peach puree, peach bitters, and topped with prosecco.
The “Pittsburgh shines again” cocktail has Tito’s vodka, muddled grapes, fresh basil, fresh lemon and ginger ale. The “main ritual” features Jim Beam bourbon, fresh lemon and northwest berry syrup. Called “shareables” on the menu, the brûléed oranges have goat cheese and local microgreens. The fried green tomatoes are topped with green goddess dressing and pickled onion, and the tuna poke features sashimi-grade tuna and poke sauce.

Overall, the proteins in the dishes we ordered were cooked well, but we just thought the flavors had a recurring theme of being far too sweet. Amanda, who got a restaurant job to pay her way through medical school, fell in love with the industry and decided to stay. Ed’s meatloaf, which uses beef and veal, has a kick to it thanks to chipotle barbecue sauce. It’s served with tomato jam on a bed of whipped Yukon gold mashed potatoes.
The all-American burger is a double stacked burger with white American cheese, shredded lettuce and house made Thousand Island dressing. Pasta dishes include linguini and clams with white wine and lemon thyme butter and gnocchi with peas and roasted garlic cream. Slated to open in 2022, Ritual House will occupy the former Union Standard space in the building’s first-floor dining concourse.
Maybe we just ordered the wrong menu items for our palate, but after finishing our entrees, we were left with a such sugar rush that we couldn't have possibly contemplated getting dessert. That was a shame because we absolutely love dessert, and the pastry chef at Ritual House is a bit of a celebrity after winning a competition on Food Network. For entrees, we tried the Asian-inspired fried chicken with Szechuan syrup and Asian slaw. The chicken was fried excellently, with lots of perfectly crispy, craggy bits and a not-too-thick batter, and the portion was also huge. Cocktails include crowd-pleasing flavors with a slant towards fruitiness.
Hawaiian Ahi Tuna “Poke” with fresh pineapple, organic cucumber, spicy soy sauce, and sesame wonton crisps is a delightful twist on the original. Served in a carved-out pineapple with an abundance of fruit, the dish is aesthetically pleasing, to say the least. Sliced avocado balances the spicy soy sauce well, and the crunch of the organic cucumber mixed with the spicy tuna poke is a most pleasing sensory experience. Although this dish does have some heat, the dance the spicy soy did on my tongue was pleasant, not like the fire-breathing, sweat-inducing heat of hot peppers. Chef Andrew Pastore’s Pacific Rim menu is so elegant, exotic, and beautifully presented, it’s a shame dishes aren’t delivered to tables by elephant.
We were stuffed after these four dishes, but had to try The Holy Trinity of Cup Cakes, which brought this religious experience full circle. The dessert, also portioned for two guests, includes nine miniature cupcakes in red velvet, candied lemon, and chocolate chip overdose. These bite-size beauties were more than enough to sate our sweet tooth and complete a most excellent meal. Ritual House was inspired by world travels and a passion for Pittsburgh. Captivating art, devilish details, and luxurious comfort are just the start of the experience. This is our love letter to Pittsburgh — a way to add to the magic of our hometown.
But the idea of posting her TikTok content to Instagram Reels in front of everyone she knew in high school wasn't appealing. Join our coffee club and you’ll always have Ritual on hand, with no commitments and plenty of perks. There are more salads and soups as well as a smoked pork loin handheld, Nashville hot chicken and Bear Italian beef. Ritual House, which opened in February in the Union Standard Building in Downtown Pittsburgh, served up a new menu on Wednesday. Yap said she's heard whispers of people moving to Discord and Twitch, but these platforms don't have short-form video people can endlessly scroll like TikTok does. TikToker Cassandra Marie, for example, called Clapper the "new TikTok" and praised the app's growth potential, as well as the nostalgic feel of being like TikTok in its early days. It's unclear if such AI tools would convince Gen Z to scroll on Instagram and use it more often. However, Sophie Lund-Yates, from Hargreaves Lansdown, told the BBC that Meta's "substantial investment" in AI has helped it get people to spend time on its platforms. It is hard to make sweeping statements about any generation, especially one that spans the ages of 12 to 27, but a mass exodus of the ones who use TikTok to Meta's photo app is unlikely, they said. "The TikTok ban bill was just passed in the House, which is a bummer," she said.

The menu advertises that the platter is for 2-4 people, but the portion is probably closer to two people with healthy appetites. I say this because after you try some of these components, you’ll want to go back for seconds and will be disappointed if they’re not there. Each dish is portioned on a smaller, puzzle-piece-shaped dish for sharing. This one was flavored with miso and orange in a poke broth, with spinach, daikon, and carrots.

The wine list leans heavy into California, and the draft beer list is quite small with the likes of Miller Lite and Yuengling (plus a few bottle options with one or two local choices). The dining areas and bar span multiple floors- our table was in the level closest to the door. We've always thought this space was awkward, even when previous restaurants were in this space. We think it kind of feels like a hotel lobby or a place you should be walking through to get somewhere else with the rest of the restaurant disconnected from the area.

The menu will feature salads such as a Waldorf chicken salad with bib lettuce, honey candied walnuts, plumped cranberries, honey lime crème fraiche, and candied frozen champagne grapes. There are plans for a second location of Coast & Main coming to East Liberty. Michelle Kirsop said it was important to pay attention to every detail when designing the restaurant and the menu. The goal was to entice all of the senses while creating a welcoming atmosphere, she said. The fish was cooked to juicy perfection, we just thought that the broth was also intensely sweet and, in our opinion, it overpowered the fish. We also weren't expecting the spinach, daikon, and carrots to be raw and served as a sort of salad in the broth. The weekend brunch menu features items such as lemon meringue pancakes, cinnamon sugar French toast sticks and crème brulee waffles.

Sweet and sour Brussels sprouts were a second appetizer for the night which, while having an expected sweetness, was perfectly balanced with a zippy acidity from the citrus that we appreciated. Grilled lamb chops will be served with rosemary thyme honey and mint chimichurri and a double cut pork chop topped with cherry bacon relish. The Chilean sea bass has smoky bacon miso, stir fry vegetables and pickled cucumber. Entrees include the Turkey Devonshire on sourdough, roast turkey breast, beefsteak tomatoes, mornay sauce, and candied pepper bacon.

Overall, although the proteins in our entrees were cooked exceptionally well, the flavors here missed the mark for us- the recurring sweetness was something that stuck with us well after leaving. Whether or not this was something we misunderstood from the menu descriptions or that we just did not craft a proper meal outright remains to be seen, but this one ended up being not quite what we expected. The meal's highlight was definitely the service, as our server was very attentive and gave many suggestions on what to order (we, admittedly, probably should've asked more questions about flavor here!). We had a long chat about the delicious-sounding dessert menu despite opting to miss it, and we found out that you can order desserts for takeout which is definitely on our list to try in the future.
Rituals mark special moments in life that are worth celebrating — a birthday or anniversary dinner, retirement, a new baby, a business deal. After an appetizer duo like the above set, it’s easy to doubt that the second course could possibly match its predecessor. At least two entrees on the menu, however, surpass these exceptional starters. Once inside, the atmosphere was far more welcoming than the door staff. The outdoor seating area is comprised of long rows of tables and a perimeter of cushioned banquettes. A giant water feature is the center of attention, and hundreds of candles set the mood.
Owners also collaborated with the design team of Tracy Delisio and Taylor Schaffron from Next Architecture and Bill Krowinski of Bootstrap Design, both local companies. At one entrance there is a secret garden bursting with wisteria and comfy chairs hanging from the ceiling, created by artist Mia Tarducci, whose large colorful painting is displayed on a back wall.
The owners spent 18 months fine-tuning the aesthetics of the place to meet customer demand for a unique night out. Let us introduce you to the beautiful Lofoten Islands, the mysteries of the aurora borealis, and how our on board spa services take inspiration from the ocean itself.

Creed reunited and played their first show in 12 years as part of the “Summer of 99” cruise last night (April 18). The "Summer of '99" Cruise will be held from April in 2024, departing from Miami, Florida for Nassau, Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship. Heavy Consequence photojournalist Liz Ramanand is on the Summer of ’99 cruise, and captured photos and video of Creed’s first concert in 12 years. When it was all said and done, the show proved to be a cathartic experience for both the fans and Creed themselves, especially Stapp. The crowd waited 12 years for this moment, and all of that energy was unleashed in every word that was sung back to the band.
DANNY CAREY Names The Most Challenging TOOL Songs To Perform Live: "I Had To Seriously Breathe"
CREED's enormous success is largely due to the prolific writing team of Stapp and Tremonti, who founded the band together in 1993. Their winning combination of driving guitar riffs, rousing hooks and introspective lyrics earned them legions of loyal fans around the world. Following the release of their first two albums, the four-piece — which also included bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips — became the first band ever to have seven consecutive No. 1 singles on Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. CREED's third album, "Weathered" (2001),also debuted at No. 1, and produced several popular singles, including Top Ten hits "My Sacrifice" and "One Last Breath".
Week 1: Miami Lineup
CREED's second concert consisted of 17 songs and included the new additions of "Beautiful", "Pity For A Dime" and "Inside Us All", which were not performed two days earlier. The band's lineup of Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips performed two shows during the cruise, which is traveling from Miami to the Bahamas between April 18 and April 22. Presented by Sixthman, the "Summer Of '99" cruise lineup also includes performances by 3 DOORS DOWN, BUCKCHERRY, TONIC, FUEL, VERTICAL HORIZON, THE VERVE PIPE, TANTRIC and NINE DAYS, among others. On April 27, Creed will embark on another cruise titled “Summer of ’99 and Beyond” from Orlando, Florida. That line-up will feature Daughtry as well as the other bands from the previous cruise. The band – comprised of Scott Stapp, Brian Marshall, Scott Phillips, Mark Tremonti and touring guitarist Eric Friedman – performed a 16-track setlist for the attendees.
Peter Frampton Reacts to Rock Hall of Fame Induction, Reveals Who He Wants to Perform With During the Ceremony
In 2019, Tremonti said in an interview on Jamey Jasta's podcast that he was sitting on an album's worth of material for CREED. The performance marked Creed’s first concert since December 2012, when they wrapped up a tour in support of their 2009 album Full Circle, which came after their first reunion following their breakup in 2004. 3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, The Verve Pipe, Tantric, Dishwalla, Louise Post (of Veruca Salt) and Nine Days have all been booked for the festival cruise, which is presented by Sixthman. Creed Announce Second Cruise (With One Big Lineup Change).
Though CREED announced its breakup in 2004, the band briefly reunited in 2009 to release "Full Circle". Heavier than their previous albums, "Full Circle" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, proving the incredible staying power of the band. CREED's enormous success is largely due to the prolific writing team of singer Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti, who founded the band together in 1993. Returning diamond-certified alternative metal band Creed have announced a second sailing of their 2024 ‘Summer Of ’99‘ cruise.
Second Cruise Just Announced!
The best-selling band will perform two shows next April as the headliners of a four-night cruise. Stapp took a moment to lead the crowd into a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ in celebration of Tremoni’s 50th birthday. The cruise will be hosted by Sirius XM DJ Eddie Trunk and the AXS TV The Power Hour show crew of Matt Pinfield, Caity Babs, and Josh Bernstein.
Fans who aren’t hitting the high seas with Creed can catch the band on their multi-leg North American reunion tour. A summer outing with support from 3 Doors Down and Finger Eleven will be followed by a fall jaunt featuring 3 Doors Down and Mammoth WVH. After setting sail from Miami, the Summer of ’99 cruise will visit Nassau, Bahamas, before returning to Miami on April 22nd. Among the other bands on the cruise are 3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, and more.

"Summer Of '99" cruise will also feature an exclusive live Q&A with CREED open to all guests, activities with bands and podcast hosts, panels, autograph sessions, and a very special Y2K Countdown theme party. As if that weren't enough, all guests will receive an autographed commemorative item signed by CREED prior to the event.
"I learned this from Mark [Tremonti, CREED guitarist] the other day in a Guitar World interview that we did together," Scott said. Creed released four albums beginning with 1997’s My Own Prison, and helped define the mega-selling post-grunge rock movement of the late ‘90s. Singles like “One,” “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open” and “My Sacrifice” crossed over from alternative radio to pop audiences, and with 1999 sophomore album Human Clay, Creed reached a commercial peak — the album has sold 11.7 million copies to date, according to Luminate.
The tour will take in 40 cities across the continent, and they are set to be the band’s first shows in 12 years. Speculation that the multi-platinum rock group was planning a return really heated up when the band updated their social media profile pictures with a new logo earlier this month. A week later, this notion intensified when Creed released a video teaser, which stated, "Let's go back to the summer of '99," and featured a series of photos of the band's members throughout the years, including a new press shot that suggested a comeback was indeed in the works. It's official — Creed have reunited after teasing their comeback earlier this month.
Pre-sale tickets will begin on Oct. 31, followed by a general on-sale starting Nov. 3 at 10AM local time. Sirius XM DJ Eddie Trunk will co-host both cruises alongside the trio from AXS TV's The Power Hour show — Matt Pinfield, Caity Babs and Josh Bernstein. The Summer of '99 and Beyond cruise will be held on the Norwegian Jade cruise ship from April 27-May 1, departing from Port Canaveral in Florida, also venturing to the Bahamas.
Their first live performance since 2012 is set to take place on the high seas on the band's own 2024 cruise festival, dubbed "Summer of '99," which features 3 Doors Down and a number of other era-specific groups for maximum nostalgia. Five days later (April 27th), Creed will embark on the Summer of ’99 and Beyond cruise from Orlando. That lineup will feature Daughtry along with several of the bands from the first cruise. By popular demand, the reunited Creed have announced a second Summer of '99 cruise, dubbed Summer of '99 and Beyond, which will take place just a few days after the first at-sea excursion returns to port.
